Inside the Library

Finding your way

Readers copyOur pdfGuide to the First Floor and Mezzanine can help you get oriented to the Brooks Memorial Library building, which was completed in 1967.  The Reference Librarian also leads tours of the first floor and mezzanine on the first Friday of every month at noon.  Tours for individuals or groups can also be arranged at your convenience.

Meeting space and event space in the Library

The Meeting Room is available for groups holding public meetings and programs.  All groups who wish to use the space must fill out a pdfMeeting Room Regulations and Application Form and must book the space in advance by visiting or calling the Children's Room, (802) 254-5290 x110.

Smaller and more private meeting spaces are in demand, and the Library's Building and Grounds Committee is working to create more meeting spaces in our open-plan building.  We do not reserve small meeting spaces at this time, but occasionally we can accomodate small groups or Skype/FaceTime session on an as-needed basis.  Please inquire at the Reference or circuation desk if you need a space.
