Want to learn a new language or brush up your skills? The library has two interactive language-learning tools accessible on computers and mobiles. Both can be found on the library’s Online Learning page, and both are free with your library card!
is a popular app that includes lessons in more than 70 languages, including English for speaker of 21 other languages. And don’t miss their Talk Like a Pirate spoof! It includes helpful tips for reading cultural cues in a new setting.
Pronunciator includes 164 languages, including American Sign Language, and it’s flexible for speakers of a variety of languages. Using sound, text, and video, you can learn English to Pashto, Hindi to English, Spanish to Irish, or most any language combination that meets your needs.
