During a total eclipse\, he discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II\, which feeds only on human flesh and blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey’s boyfriend to the plant after his accidental death\, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly bloodthirsty plant. Runtime 1 hr and 33 minutes. \nSnacks provided\, BYO seating! \nHosted by the Teen Advisory Board.\n“Teens Only” events are open to people in grades 7-12.

These include museum passes\, the Children and Adult Summer Reading program\, Sing and Dance with Robin for pre-schoolers\, food for the very popular Teen Nights\, co-sponsorship of the First Wednesday lecture series\, and computer access to free resources such as Kanopy (films) and Mango and Pronunciator (language study programs).\n\nAdvance ticket purchases are appreciated. Her husband Reggie calls her “party in a box” and “a weaver of people and movements.” Facing a diagnosis of terminal illness\, Rae engages in a shocking suicide-murder\, taking the life of an oil company CEO for his complicity in delaying responses to climate catastrophe. DESCRIPTION:Meeting and panel discussion\nin the Main Reading Room\n\nThis panel discussion is part of a public engagement process hosted by the Brattleboro Conservation Commission after a recent timber harvest at the Brattleboro’s Watershed Forest: Pleasant Valley Reservoir (PVR). It started with an excellent tour by Dan Healey\, the consulting forester for PVR’s Forest Management Plan\, which went into detail discussing the silvicultural treatments used in the most recent harvest and the goals they were meant to fulfill.\n\nHere\, with a panel consisting of consulting foresters\, Dan Healey and Andrew Morrison\, and consulting ecologist Daniel Dubie\, we zoom out to a broader view of forestry and forest ecology for a discussion of the landscape-scale benefits of – and threats to – our regional forests\, and how forestry can maximize those benefits and address those threats\, and (to a lesser degree) how management of PVR fits into that.
