VITA sites offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns\, including: \n-People who generally make $67\,000 or less\n-Persons with disabilities\, and\n-Limited English-speaking taxpayers \nSEVCA’s VITA program also assists Vermont homeowners and renters with Homestead Declarations\, Property Tax Credit Claims\, and Renter Rebate Claims\, even if they are not required to file a tax return. \nVITA services are not only free\, they are also a reliable and trusted source for preparing tax returns. \nServices are by appointment only.
