What is a zine? Zines are small or mini magazines that you can create! Zines can be comics, or stories or anything you want. Make a zine about the most amazing trip ever. Make a zine about something you are passionate about. Make a zine about anything you want and it will be awesome. Two local zine makers, comic drawers, and super artists, Jo Dery and Hannah Cummins, will be there to give tips and tricks to make the best zines.
When? Monday, July 13th from 7:00-9:00
Where? Brooks Memorial Library on Main Street in downtonw Brattleboro.
Who should come? Anyone ages 12-19.
Brooks Memorial Library is a Free Lunch site for children 0-18. Come to the library and eat a free lunch Monday-Friday from 12:00-12:30. The free lunch program starts Monday, June 22nd and runs through Friday, August 21st. No registration required. Just show up and eat for free. On Mondays stay for our free movie matinee. Fridays eat lunch with local heroes, and learn about what it takes to plow the roads in the winter, fight fires, rescue animals, save people, and take care of our community. For these events, come eat a free lunch or bring your own. All are welcome!
