Try a bike free with your library card
Library cardholders can reserve and check out an e-bike for a 5-day loan.
How it works
- Borrow and return to the main library, first floor.
- Bikes always go out on Friday and must be returned the following Wednesday.
- Bikes have their own borrowing agreement.
Borrowers must:
- Have a library card in good standing
- Reserve a bike ahead of time. Make a reservation below!
- Present ID when checking out the bike
- Sign a waiver releasing the Town and the Library from damage or physical injury
- Receive training and orientation
- Be 16 or older. Minors must have a parent present at site for pick up.
- Have a helmet, or borrow one from us
- Ride the bike away or put the bike in a vehicle for transport—they are too heavy for a standard bike rack.
- Store the bike indoors, to protect it from weather and theft
Reserve your bike today!
The library has two e-bikes, each with different features. Friday is always the check-out day, and Wednesday is always the return day.
May 14, 2025: E-bikes reservations are coming soon for the 2025 season! Check back or read the library’s email newsletter for an announcement.
Reserve your bike on a FRIDAY
