Celebrating the Poetry of Robert Frost

Friday, March 20 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

March 26 is the birthday of New England’s greatest poet, and for that matter one of America’s greatest poets. As a long-time admirer of Robert Frost, Raymond Clark will be performing twenty of Frost’s poems in the early twentieth-century dialect of coastal New Hampshire, where he grew up and Frost once resided. Beginning with Frost’s favorite introduction to his collection of over 500 poems, Clark will “Go out to clean the pasture spring.” and travel through the seasons until a crow shakes down on him, “a dust of snow.” There will be time between each poem for interaction, but the focus will be on the poems, not the poet.
