Harm Reduction and Overdose Prevention 101

Community Substance Use Response (CSUR) invites you to a free informative and engaging Harm Reduction and Overdose Prevention training, presented by Vermont Cares.

The session will cover: What is Harm Reduction and how does it work; Addressing stigma around substance use; Understanding overdose prevention; Recognizing signs of an overdose and how to respond.

Participants will gain a compassionate, informed, and practical approach to harm reduction. They will be equipped to positively impact their communities and offer non-judgmental support to those in need.

Naloxone (an overdose reversal medication) training will be included, and participants will have the option to take a free naloxone kit home, empowering them to potentially save lives.
