Brooks Memorial Library Free Meeting and Study Space
Description
Brooks Memorial Library has four rooms of different sizes for meetings and quiet study. A library card is not required to use the rooms, but reservations are recommended, because they’re popular.
Small meeting rooms (B, C) can be booked immediately – with no approval necessary. The Community Room (A) needs to be booked a week in advance and requires staff approval, which can take between 24 hours and 3 days.
Here’s a quick view of the options:
Room A, Community Meeting Room: For large public gatherings; Capacity: 42; Food & drink allowed: programs must adhere to the Room Use Policy: https://brookslibraryvt.org/meeting-room-policy/
Room B, Mezzanine Meeting Room: Individuals or small groups; Capacity: 14; No food or drink; Nice view!
Room C, Small Meeting Room: Individuals or small groups; Capacity: 10; Food & drink allowed; Includes newspaper microfilm reader-printer and the Brattleboro Reformer card index.
Room D, Quiet Reading Room: Quiet study space for everybody; Capacity: 26; No food or drink; Drop-in: no reservation required; room is adorned with carnations.
Additional Resources Available: projector, tv monitor, meeting owl, podium, portable sound system, and more.
