- The Library uses an online reservation system for most of its Things.
- You can also stop by to see if a Thing is available.
- Some Things are available on a seasonal basis, and others are available all year.

Year-Round Things at the Circulation Desk

From kitchen tools to electronic equipment, all year-round Things can be checked out at the first-floor circulation desk during regular library hours.
things-by-chance (circulation desk)
We also have additional Things, like hiking poles and wifi hotspots, that you can find in the library catalog. We sometimes call them “things-by-chance.” They are available first-come, first-served, but you can place holds through your regular library account with your card number and PIN, just as you would for books or DVDs.

Pick-up: Friday
Return: the following Wednesday
A bike volunteer/ librarian will meet you on the library’s first floor for pickup and return.

Thanks for another successful season for the tool cottage! We’ll see you again in Spring 2024.
Location
Field to Fork Tool Cottage, behind the library, at the edge of the Municipal Parking Lot.
Hours
Weds: 6pm – 7:30pm
Fri: 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Sat: 10am – noon
Garden tools can be borrowed and returned ONLY when the tool cottage is open.
