The Children’s Room, located on the top floor of the Brooks Memorial Library, offers an extensive collection of books, audiobooks, DVDs, magazines, e-books and e-audiobooks. Ongoing programs for children from birth through 6th grade include weekly craft table, Rhyme Time for children under 6, LEGO-palooza for all ages, monthly book club, 1000 books before kindergarten, annual Design-A-Plate, and summer reading program. Toys, puzzles and board games are available for use in the Children’s Room.

How to Access Services

Everyone is welcome to visit the Children's Room. Brattleboro residents are eligible for a free library card. Non-residents may purchase a card. Schools, non-profits and organizations may apply for a card, fee may apply.
