Vermont Adult Learning
Description
Vermont Adult Learning (VAL) is an adult education and literacy organization. We help adult learners, ages 16 and older, acquire reading, writing, math and computer skills. Our programs include basic education and literacy, high school completion, GED tutoring and testing, courses for English Language Learners, workforce readiness and development, and transition to post-secondary education. In addition to English language skills, we teach civics classes to help students on their paths to citizenship. VAL’s approach is individualized and student-driven. Services are available in person and online with 1:1 and small group instruction. Our services are free (other than GED exams).
