Efficiency Vermont offers the first of three presentations to help you increase energy efficiency in your home or business.

Each presentation is preceded by Open Office hours with Brad Long of Efficiency Vermont, 3:00-5:00 on the library’s first floor. This is an opportunity for community members to have a personal conversation with Brad Long of Efficiency Vermont to discuss their home, apartment or business energy use and what can be done to reduce it while becoming more comfortable.

Learn what you can do to weatherize your windows or how to make an informed decision about whether or not to replace or repair them.  Windows can account for up to 30% of a home’s air leakage, so a lot of people look to replace them during a home renovation or weatherization project.  Did you know that the return on investment for a window replacement is often times greater in length than the lifespan of the window?  Come learn how you can reduce air leakage without breaking the bank and why weatherizing your windows is a smart choice most of the time.
