John Van Der Does – Author Event

John Van Der Does – an author living in Chester, Vermont – will share readings from his autobiographical accounts of his experiences in Vietnam.  During the war, John wrote an extensive interview with the author Anton Wilson, an article in a French newspaper chronicling the struggles of people living on the barges on the banks of the Seine, and a book of poetry.

John had been hired to work on a film script with the famous director Jodorosky, but the chaos involved with this eccentric individual caused him to quit.

John is currently writing a novel whose main characters are a doctoral student and a taxi driver who uncover mysterious links between two literary giants in documents discovered in an attic in France.
