Grant Funding and Nonprofits

Resources to further your mission

Fund your project or grow your nonprofit with help from the resources on this page. Questions? Contact Jeanne or try our Grants Research Request.

Candid has evolved from Foundation Directory and Guidestar, two major players in the world of foundation fundraising and nonprofit activity. “Built on decades of comprehensive data, Candid provides a wide view of nonprofit activity and funder behavior designed to support due diligence, market analysis, partnerships, and strategic decision making.”

Local nonprofits will want to explore the excellent Vermont/New England funding sources described and linked below. For those who want to cast the net wider and seek larger or more specialized grants, Candid is a perfect next stop.

Candid also enables nonprofits to boost their visibility and earn the trust of potential funders through seals of transparency.

FREE TO ALL ON-SITE at the Brooks Memorial Library. Use a library computer or your own device connected to the ‘Brooks Public’ wifi network. Or see the Candid map for other free locations.
